Kevin Day Area Manager for Downland Housing said “Following a number of serious anti social incidents at the Foyer involving youths threatening staff, other residents and even the building, we took immediate and decisive action. This Injunction is one measure we are taking to tackle this issue in partnership with Wealden District Council and Sussex Police. We will be seeking an Anti Social Behaviour Order against one youth and taking appropriate actions against others involved”
Sergeant Richard Mitchell from Sussex Police in Hailsham said: “Sussex Police are keen to support our partners in the effective measures being put in place to deal with anti social behaviour. This particular case highlights how local organisations and agencies are working together to deal with these issues and how effective partnership working can be. Together we will strive to ensure those people who live in Sussex shall do so without the threat of anti social behaviour.
